Saving of CO2 emissions by biomass based power plants as compared to fossil fuel based stations

In addition to its reliability and cost competitiveness, biomass gasification based power plants are CO2 neutral as shown below and therefore save the emission of Green House Gases (Gags) into the atmosphere. The rise in the concentration of Gags lead to the greenhouse effect, causing a rise in the average global temperature. This disturbs the natural balance of the climate cycle and creates the risk of climate change.
